Trump to Nominate XOM CEO Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State

As someone who observed at close hand ExxonMobil among the major corporate players behind the U.S.-Russia ‘Reset’ of 2009, the Russia Analyst will have much more to write about this subject soon. As I told the Guerrilla in October 2014 the first time V interviewed me, the ‘Reset’ didn’t happen just because incoming President Barack Hussein Obama wanted to distinguish his Russia policy from that of his predecessor, George W. Bush, and turn a new page from the 2008 Russia-Georgia war. It happened because very powerful corporate interests including XOM and Goldman Sachs wanted it to happen.

President-elect of the United States of America Donald J. Trump is serving as a Commander-in-Chief-in-waiting. He went to the annual Army-Navy football game to unify the country—and her armed forces—behind his incoming administration.

“Yesterday was the first day of Donald Trump’s presidency. It was Reagan-esque in that it grasped the importance of symbolism,” David Urban, a West Point graduate and senior adviser to the president-elect’s campaign whose box Trump sat in for the first half, told Breitbart News. “Donald Trump not only understood the significance of the Army-Navy game and all it stands for in America, but he understands those visual images of him standing with the men and women of the armed services are seen across the world by our friends and enemies alike.”

For now, we will leave RogueMoney readers with the cheers and shouts of ‘Make America Great Again’ President elect Donald J. Trump received from the crowd at the Baltimore Ravens’ M&T Bank Stadium, attending the annual Army-Navy football game (which for the first time in 14 seasons, Army won). – JWS

  1. My main reason for being for Trump is now vindicated. If he does nothing more in his administration than establish detente with Russia than he’s done a lot. Nothing is more important for our world than having friendly relations with Russia and finally ending the threat of nuclear war. After all if there is nuclear war nothing else really matters, doesn’t it? This really reminds me of the Nixon-Brezhnev detente days and Occidental Petroleum CEO Armand Hammer’s great relations with the Kremlin. In fact having Tillerson as Secretary of State is almost like having Hammer in that position.
Wonderful news and shows that Trump really means what he’s been saying about Russia all through the campaign
