Guerrilla Update: This…is…Brexit!

The Russia Analyst, as a euro-skeptic for over a decade and a half, had hoped for a Brexit. But even we are stunned that the #Remain camp and EUrocrats failed to fix the outcome in their favo(u)r. We also find it interesting that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump happens to be visiting his golf courses in Scotland, the land of his ancestors, on this momentous occasion.

As of this hour Midnight June 24 Eastern Time/4:00 AM GMT in the United (for now with Scotland) Kingdom, the BBC/ITV/Sky News are calling it for Leave. Below is Nigel Farage’s first victory speech…and our simian leader the Guerrilla’s thoughts recorded around 1 p.m. Eastern before all the British ballots were in, and the Pound and markets began to slide ahead of London opening this a.m.- JWS

  1. If I recall correctly, Boris Johnson, City of London Mayor, was for Brexit. That would be a fair predictor of what the result of the polls would be.

So it seems City of London is even more overtly going East, to the Eurasian Alliance, and has washed its hands of the EU’s bureaucrats in Brussels, made up of those slimy Atlanti-cysts.

One of the early signs of this was when it refused to endorse Obama’s stance over Syria in September 2013, which V also talked about.

Implementation of this decision to break away from EU will take a while. Previous polls where various countries voted against EU policy found themselves having their poll results not recognised. The difference this time is the City of London is having a say in the matter.

    Time will tell.

  2. Well done Nigel Farage for all your hard work over the last 25 years to bring this to fruition. Without you this never would have been possible.
